SideQuest is a task RPG for iOS. Your to-do list becomes a quest board: you sort quests on the Task Matrix, earn XP for finishing them, build streaks, level up, and break big goals into Boss Battles.

SideQuest is free to download and use. SideQuest Premium is optional and costs $4.99 per month or $39.99 per year. The free version shows banner ads on the Matrix board and the Rewards screen; Premium unlocks Boss Battles, removes the ads, and adds premium themes.

Premium is an Apple In-App Purchase, so Apple handles the payment and we never see your card details. It renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it at any time in your Apple ID account settings.

A Boss Battle is a big goal, like a launch, a move, or a deadline, broken into smaller quests. Every finished quest chips away at the boss’s HP until you defeat it. Boss Battles are part of SideQuest Premium.

SideQuest is built for the point where a new app usually gets dropped. Every finished quest pays out XP right away, momentum tracks the days you keep going, and achievements reward consistency, like Building Momentum for completing a quest three days in a row. With Premium, Boss Battles keep a big goal visible until it is done. None of it depends on guilt, and the free version is enough to find out whether it sticks for you.

The core experience is built around tasks, due dates, reminders, categories, recurrence, notes, priority, and local-first storage. The game layer is designed to encourage follow-through without getting in the way.

Quests award XP based on their size: Quick quests award 10 XP, Standard quests 25 XP, Significant quests 50 XP, and Major quests 100 XP. Completing quests also updates momentum and checks achievements.

Rewards include themes, achievement badges, profile emblems, alternate app icons, quest card styles, chest tiers, and completion effects. Some rewards are included in the free experience, and SideQuest Premium adds premium themes and Boss Battles.
